Ark Farm provided our children aged 2 to 7 with a real life and purposeful learning opportunity.
Fraser and Tam were both very approachable, supportive and flexible with the range of ages and questions

The visit proved both informative and enjoyable. For children who do not have the opportunity to
see and feel animals up close and personal this experience can be life changing. The learning outcomes were
planned to match the childrens prior learning and the team went to great lengths to ensure this was the case.

All the families enjoyed the petting farm it was a great opportunity for families with children from 0-5
to access animals on their housing estate. It was an enjoyable day for all, the staff were friendly and
animals were well , the service was excellent thanks for coming!!!

Ark Farm visited our Foundation Stage and we loved it. The whole visit was very well prepared
and organised meaning very little imput from us - which is a real plus for busy teachers.
Each of our classes had a 35 minute 'lesson' which covered H&S, care and respect
of the animals and facts about each of the animals. Overall an excellent experience,

The children had a fantastic day that was planned to match our curriculum requests and enabled them
to meet and experience touching all the animals. They had the opportunity to talk about what they could
observe (similarities and differences) and ask questions about the animals. The level of adult support
(three adults came with the animals) and their expertise and knowledge about the animals was excellent.

What a lovely, stress-free way to enable children to learn more about farm animals.
The relaxed nature of the day allowed my class to ask all of the questions that they
wanted and there was time for them to all be answered. They loved being able to touch and
hold the animals and to really be able to see the differences and similarities for themselves.
Being able to get two classes to see the animals made it very cost effective.
We will be in touch for next year!

Ark Farm were excellent, when we had to rearrange at short notice due to the water being switched off
they were very flexible, they were very knowledgable and reasonably priced. The children loved it!

Birthday Party, Cambridge

Having Ark Farm come to my son's birthday party really made it a special day that will be remembered
by everyone. Adults and children alike were delighted by the animals who seemed calm and happy despite
all the toddlers surrounding them which is a real tribute to their handlers. Set-up and clear up
were completed really quickly and unobtrusively and once everything had been cleared away the only clue
that there had been animals in the garden was a slightly better cropped patch of grass in one place where
the pony had been! Thank you Ark Farm!

Everyone enjoyed themselves on Saturday, and all the parents said what a great idea,
I was so pleased with everything Ark Farm provided as was my husband and all the children.

From an administration point of view the system of getting Ark Farm to the school with very little
hassle worked well.
